Christophe Dickès was in charge of Media Content and Copyright at a global scale at Onclusive. He works with the publishers and the collective management organizations. He has over twenty years of experience in the world of media monitoring, press review and media evaluation (Press Index, Kantar).

 

As FIBEP’s VP, he leads the Copyright Commission since 2014 and is recognized in the market as an expert: he has worked with the European institutions on the issue of the European Directive for FIBEP and AMEC. In 2016, he integrated the European Legal 500 GC power list which recognizes the corporate counsel who are driving the legal business forward and identifies an array of the most influential and innovative in-house counsel working in the region. In 2019, he was short listed by the European Counsel Awards (Lexology) in the intellectual property category. Christophe holds a doctorate in Contemporary History and a master degree in Politics and Media. He is a contributor to several media and publications.

Sarah focuses on media law, data protection, IT law, and compliance and has been working with pressrelations for four years. She is a legal counselor with a background in international and European law, bringing extensive experience across multiple countries in both legal practice and academia.

 

As a member of the FIBEP Copyright Commission, the International Association for Media Monitoring and Media Intelligence, Sarah actively contributes to discussions on media law and copyright. Over the past hight years, she has dedicated herself to media law and compliance, working on cross-border legal issues that shape the evolving media landscape.

 

Beyond traditional legal matters, her work extends to tackling contemporary challenges such as disinformation and media literacy in the digital age.

Sarah holds two Master’s degrees in French and German law.

I’m responsible for planning, developing and implementing commercial strategies based on company objectives reporting directly to the board of owners. 

 

I’ve been working in the media monitoring field and at L’ Eco della Stampa since 2003 and my extensive experience in project management, negotiation, market research combined with my ability to eloquently convey complex ideas and excellent instinct for business opportunities, contributed to increase in company , sensitively, annual revenues. I’m people-person skilled at impressing clients, satisfying customers, developing of new strategies and keeping large multi-dimensional teams working together in the most efficient ways possible. For the last 5 years I also managed, in cooperation with the board of owners, copyright negotiations with the Major Italian Publishers. 

 

In my free time I’m piano jazz player and singer, appasionate by the nature, especially when it comes to skiing in the winter and sailing-scubadiving in the summer. My maxim is: “Per Aspera ad Astra”  (Through hardship we reach the stars). My “Copyright Maxim” is “Today in Italy, it is as stable as cherry tomatoes on bruschetta”.

With a university degree in journalism and communication, Thierry first worked for a few Belgian media. He joined Auxipress 32 years ago, at the dawn of the digital age, to launch the first strategic and early morning monitoring service. Board member since 2012, he lead the global operations at Auxipress since 2001. Since then, he has also been involved in all discussions relating to copyright with publishers, other rights holders, and Belgian licensing bodies. Thierry has been involved in the development of Auxipress from a media monitoring business to a brand intelligence business.

Hans Christian Nordahl Thomsen is Head of Media Management at Infomedia-Retriever Denmark. He is responsible for media agreements, relations with publishers, copyright law and media compliance. He has 12 years of experience with media intelligence in the Nordics. He has been a board member of the Press Database and Licensing Network since 2019. Hans holds a master's degree in political science from the University of Copenhagen.

Florian's beginning point in the industry was in the late 1990's as copyright discussions and disputes peaked in Austria. He headed the contract conversations with the publishers in Austria and has been discussing copyright disputes and disputing copyright claims extensively and specialised in IP law in his law studies. The contract, which was reached in 2003 is still in place and a big success for the MMOs and still relevant revenue for the editors.  
Florian is CEO of OBSERVER Brand Intelligence since 2001 and the odyssey is still ongoing and led to extensive sponsoring analysis products, early digitization, AI use in practice  and the development of the Hybrid Intelligence approach as differentiator in a market with many new competitors. The product range expanded to market research, journalist databases, influencer analysis and press release distribution.

James Bennett is a copyright and licensing expert who has been responsible for the development of new collective licences at the UK Copyright Licensing Agency (CLA) for almost 15 years. As Head of Rightsholder Relations, he is responsible for the strategic management of CLA’s relationship with rightsholders and other stakeholders, working in partnership with publisher, author and visual creator organisations to maintain and develop CLA’s collective and transactional licences, platforms and content services. Prior to CLA he held several editorial roles in trade publishing. He has an MBA from Henley Business School, University of Reading.

Dominique has more than 30 years of experience in the field of international cooperation. He has been with ARGUS DATA INSIGHTS since 2001, where he currently serves as Head of International Business Management for the ARGUS Group. Over the past two decades, he has acquired deep expertise in international business development, particularly within the FIBEP network. His specialization includes media intelligence, global copyright regulations and strategic international partnerships. Before joining ARGUS DATA INSIGHTS, he worked as Program Director for an international NGO operating in more than twelve countries, further strengthening his global perspective and leadership skills. In addition to his professional background, Dominique pursued studies in German and Romance linguistics at the University of Lyon (France) and the Freie Universität Berlin (Germany), which provided him with a strong intercultural and multilingual foundation for his career in international collaboration.

Rebecca has worked in copyright, content procurement and licensing for 10 years. She began working at the UK CMO NLA media access in 2015 before beginning at Kantar Media in 2020 to lead the copyright and governance team in UK and Ireland. Her role is currently as Head of Content Procurement and Copyright at Onclusive; leading the global team to ensure clients have access to a wide array of content and are able to access it compliantly in line with copyright licensing regulations.

Drew is a seasoned professional in copyright licensing, with extensive experience in digital media rights, derivative licensing and governance. Currently serving as Director of Content Partnerships for Cision Group, Drew has a cross-functional content role, where he is responsible for traditional media licensing and revenue partnerships, serving Cision’s global portfolio and geos. 

Prior to Cision, Drew held roles at Elsevier and IDP Connect (formerly HotCourses) where he was responsible for Licensing, Operations, Governance, Business Development, Strategic Account management and Performance Enablement.

Florence Gaullier, partner at Vercken & Gaullier Law Firm, is a lawyer specialised in copyright in all media sectors (press and book publishing, radio, TV, Music, etc.) but also in the digital sector and in IT law (e-commerce, data protection, etc.) at French and European level. She has a very specific knowledge in the collective management of rights and in the media monitoring sector. She works with several MMOs in France and other European countries. She advises and assists several clients in their lobbying actions in France and in the EU, especially AMEC and FIBEP, in all these fields. Her firm is ranked in the most recognised international law firms’ rankings for more than twenty years (Legal 500, Chambers and Partners, Managing IP, Media Law International, etc.).

Marina Bonomi is the CEO and shareholder of Mimesi (DBInformation Group, formerly Reed Elsevier PLC group), one of the Italian key-players in the media monitoring and media intelligence industry. Marina joined Mimesi in 2010 as General Manager and, from 2011 to 2014, also was the Director of Telemat, a business unit belonging to the same Group.

 

Previously, she held C-Level positions in Vodafone Italy, also coordinating the international Value Added Services Business Units, and served as Start-up Manager in Olivetti Multimedia (Ing C.Olivetti & C S.p.A. Group). 

 

Marina, with a degree in Computer Science and an MBA at SDA Bocconi, has been a digital pioneer in Italy and Professor of Digital Marketing at Università degli Studi di Milano. Bonomi is also Vice-President of Federrassegne, an Italian Association of MMOs.
